The Regina Pat Canadians improved their Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League-leading record to 18-2-2-1 by defeating the host Beardy’s Blackhawks 6-2 on Sunday.

Jaydon Dureau, Brayden Shaw, Matthew Tress, Jack Glen, Reece Henry and Peyton Gorski scored for the Pat Canadians.

 

After 23 games, Dureau leads the league in goals (23) and points (45).

Nolan Doell and Aaron Greyeyes replied for Beardy’s.

The Pat Canadians are to return to action Thursday against the Saskatoon Blazers (8 p.m., Co-operators Centre).
