The teams in the middle and at the top of the standings in the SMAAAHL are all quite close. While the points range from 39 to 56, each team only has a few points between them and the next team up. The Regina Pat Canadians are in first place with 26 wins, eight losses, and four overtime losses earning them 56 points. The Yorkton RawTec Maulers are in second place with 25 wins, 13 losses, and four overtime losses earning them 54 points. The Moose Jaw Generals are in third place with 24 wins, nine losses, and five overtime losses earning them 53 points.
Damian Bentz from the Maulers and Erik Gardiner from the Prince Albert Mintos are tied for most points overall with 52: Bentz has 28 goals and 24 assists and Gardiner has 16 goals and 36 assists. Bentz is also leading the league in goals, and Gardiner is leading the league in assists.
