This weekend the MAAAMHL continued the high-scoring streak from the start of the regular season. Out of the fourteen games played, eleven teams ended up with four or more, up to seven, goals. There were some teams, however, that did not manage to get the puck in the net as there were three games that ended in a shutout: the Wild beat Pembina Valley 4-0, Brandon beat Norman 5-0, and the Wild beat Parkland 7-0.
These two shutouts for the Wild this weekend puts them in second place with four wins and a shootout loss, behind the Eastman Selects who have five wins. The Eastman Selects are currently undefeated in their five games played, as are the Central Plains Capitols in their three games played.
Brad Goethals of the Eastman Selects is currently leading the league with 10 points, and there are eight players tied for second place with seven points.
These standings are still close as it is the start of the regular season, so be sure to check back every week to see the scores and the top teams and players.
