The Okanagan Rockets are climbing up BCMML's standings after sweeping the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday's game showed the Rockets gaining ground from a 3-2 deficit 40 minutes in to win the game 4-3. Brandon Whistle scored his second goal of the weekend, tying up the game with eight minutes left. At just three minutes on the clock, Levi Johnson banged in the Rocket's final goal to win the game. Other scorers for the Rockets were Brett Witala and Jeffrey Schlegel. With these wins and a couple of losses from the Vancouver NW Giants, the Rockets are now within one point of the Giants for second place. The Rockets were 11-4-1 after the weekend and are hosting the last place Thompson Blazers for back-to-back games next weekend.
On Saturday the Rockets will play at the Interior Savings Centre, while Sunday's game will be at the Capital News Centre.
