Parker Bowles, the BCMML's former scoring champ is off to the annual Rookie Tournament in London Ontario to suit up for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Bowles played just one season with the Rockets, but made a major impact on the program.
Bowles scored 35 goals to lead all BCMML scorers during the 2011-2012 season. In 40 games, Bowles totaled 70 points and added 38 penalty minutes. At the time, both the mark of 35 goals, and 70 points had established club records.
The Rookie Tournament will run from September 13-16 in London, Ontario.
The Maple Leafs will open on 13th vs. Chicago, then take on the Ottawa Senators on the 14th, before closing out the event on the 16th vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins rookies.
